Why a general dentist built this
Dr. Owens is not a specialist. He is a general dentist who decided to stop referring implants out, learned to place them in his own practice, and kept running the practice while he did it.
The story
Like most general dentists, he began by referring every implant case out. The patients came back restored, the practice lost the surgical production, and the learning never happened. Traditional implant courses meant closing the office, travelling, and sitting through lectures with little surgery in them.
He learned to place implants anyway, case by case, in a working general practice. Along the way he built the systems a general practice needs to do this well: case selection, a surgical protocol, team roles, fees and scheduling. Today he places implants routinely in his own practices and runs a multi-practice group.
Why The Elite Dentist exists
The Elite Dentist was founded on three ideas: clinical mastery, business growth and practice freedom. Implant Ready is the first program, built for the dentist he used to be: capable, careful, and held back by fear, time and the lack of a mentor to ask.
It is taught the way he wishes he had been taught. Real surgeries from a general practice operatory. A system that can be followed. And someone on the other end of the call every week.
